New mom Izabele Lomax was browsing the news on Facebook when she saw a video taken the day before of her breastfeeding her baby on the beach.
“I don’t judge women who breastfeed their babies. I judge women who show their breasts in the air without the courtesy of covering up breastfeeding women in public […] Everyone should watch”, is written in the description of the video.
“I don’t have to close my son’s eyes and explain to him why your breasts are out, and honestly, I don’t want to see them either. There is respect!”, can you read it like that?
Enraged Mme Lomax decided to set the record straight on a TikTok video. “Imagine waking up and going to Facebook and you see this video from the night before at the beach,” she prefaced.
“This woman has passed me several times with her son. You had every opportunity to say something to me […]But you decided to share a video of me and my baby publicly on Facebook,” he continued.
She stated that she does not feel restricted to breastfeed her baby and only feeds her when she is hungry, be it at the beach, in a restaurant or on a trip, or anywhere else.
“The next time you see a mother nursing her baby in public, covered or not, tell her what a great job she’s doing,” the new mom concluded.
In the comments, many offered their support to the mother.
