Quite a few great games have been added to the PlayStation Plus Extra library today, but those with an Xbox, PC or phone should not be envious.
Microsoft has announced four games that will be added to Game Pass over the next three weeks, and most of them are excellent to say the least:
- Firewatch for PC, console, and the cloud (August 17)
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for PC, console and cloud starting August 18th
- Sea of Stars for PC, console and cloud (August 29)
- GRIS for PC, console and cloud (5 September)
It might seem strange that GRIS would have made the list when it released a little bit in September, but I think Microsoft decided to mention it here because most people won’t even notice the awesome Nomad game in the next update. Why? As the next batch of games to join Game Pass features Starfield, Bethesda’s long-awaited game launches directly on the service on September 6th. Those who wish to pay more for it can also purchase the premium version to receive it on the 1st of September.
However, some games leave Game Pass as usual. These games will be removed on August 31:
- Black Desert Online for consoles and the cloud
- Commandos 3 – HD Remaster for PC, consoles and the cloud
- An eternity for PC, consoles and the cloud
- The nuclear throne of computers, consoles and the cloud
- Surgeon Simulator 2 for PC, consoles and the cloud
- Tinykin for PC, consoles and the cloud
