“Private dining room for the police commissioner”
The new ad, called “The Police Commissioner’s Private Dining Room,” interweaves color with black and white scenes. The commissioner who bears his name is Edward Norton himself, who previously worked with Wes Anderson at the Grand Budapest Hotel, Moon Lovers. Moonrise Kingdom” and “Isle of Dogs”.
What will the movie be about?
Not much is known about the film – as is usually the case with Anderson’s paintings -. Opinions about him are currently divided. However, critics praise Anderson’s appreciation for writing, and point out that the image-making in The French Dispatch can be taken to a whole new level, even with the director’s avant-garde style.
The painting’s official description reads, “A love letter to journalists, set in the editorial office of an American newspaper in a fictional 20th century French town, that revives a collection of short stories published in The French Dispatch Magazine.” .
