What do we know about the movie “Nosferatu”?
“Nosferatu” is a variation on one of Eggers’ favorites “Nosferatu – A Symphony of Horror” by FW Murnau. Classics of German Expressionism Based on the novel by Bram Stoker “Dracula”.
Eggers has been planning to do a movie since 2015. Originally, Harry Styles and Anya Taylor-Joy were to star in it. The current cast includes Lily-Rose Depp (“Voyagers”), Bill Skarsgård (“Barbarians”) and Nicholas Hoult (“The List”).
“Nosferatu” in Eggers’ version would be A gothic obsession. This is a young woman’s story set in nineteenth century Germany and Transylvanian vampirewho follows in her footsteps.

For Willem Dafoe, this will not be the first adventure with Murnau’s Nosferatu – Symphony of Horrors. For nearly a quarter of a century, he starred in Shadow of the Vampire. It was the story of Murnau portraying his pioneering work. In this story, however, he is assigned the title role A real vampire. Then he brought the role of Max Schreck Dafoe Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.
Willem Dafoe will be a very busy actor for the foreseeable future. He plans to star in up to two films by Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos. The first is “poor”, and the second is “and”. He will also appear in Louis Anderson’s “Asteroid City” and Italy’s “Finalmente L’alba”.
