Gareth Bale will leave Real Madrid. The Welshman has already reached an agreement with Tottenham over the summer transfers, according to El Nacional.

Gareth Bale has been regularly linked with an exit from Real Madrid for several months. The Wales representative is not playing, and the club wanted to spend it in order to recover at least part of the amount spent on the player’s week’s wages. However, this will not happen.

The player decided to use the financial possibilities of “Królewski” to the end. According to El Nacional, Bale had already agreed terms of contract with Tottenham in January, but indicated that he would not move to London until the summer. This is a big saving for the English club, and more expense for Real Madrid.

The Welshman’s contract in Spain is valid until June 30, 2022. After this period, he will become a free player and his new club will not have to pay for the transfer itself. Spurs will therefore receive the player “for free”, while Bale himself will be additionally enriched.

His contract is still one of the biggest with Real Madrid. According to the data of the portal “Sports Salary”, the 32-year-old brings in more than 32 million euros net for the year of the game. Eden Hazard, second on the list, earns just over €23 million.

El Nacional says that Bale’s move was possible in January, but the player has preferred to spend the past six months in Madrid. It is also important that, as a free agent, the Welshman counts on a large bonus that goes straight into his pocket.

This season, the 32-year-old played only three “Krulevsky” matches. Score one goal.

His participation with Tottenham will be his third adventure in the London club. The Welshman represented Tottenham in 2007-2013 and on loan in the 2020/21 season. In all, he scored 71 goals for “Kugoti” in all competitions.
