God of War will soon cease to be a PlayStation console exclusive. It’s time to take a look at what it will offer on PC and who will be able to check this mode at home.
Hardware requirements for God of War have been revealed
The recent announcement of the PC premiere of God of War didn’t make much sense. Sony has been separated from other popular brands so far that were offered exclusively for PlayStation for quite some time. God of War 2018, which you can learn more about in our review, should be a tasty morsel for many players. Today, Sony, Santa Monica Studio, and NVIDIA have revealed some relevant information.
First of all, hardware requirements were introduced. And what is important in this context, it was precisely done. We are talking about five different hardware configurations, which include not only specific components, but also records related to resolution, graphics settings, and the number of frames per second.
God of War on PC with improvements
The mention of NVIDIA indicates that God of War will join the ranks of games that support NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex technologies. This is how it will be. However, this is not all that is emphasized.
The designers also promise higher resolution shadows and improved reflections, hassle-free control with a mouse and keyboard, but also pad support, as well as the ability to play in 4K with a frames per second limit. Ultra-wide screens and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology are also planned.
Some improvements appeared in the new trailer for the PC version. At the same time, it reminds you of the upcoming premiere, which is scheduled for January 14. The game will be available on Steam and the Epic Game Store.
