God of War can be played on PC. Some time ago it could have been a big surprise, and now it is just the implementation of Sony’s plans, which has been talked about for a long time.
God of War on PC
Sony has announced that the biggest songs it’s booked so far exclusively for its consoles will also appear on PC. It cannot be said that it is done without a lot of publicity. So far, those who prefer PC can access for example Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn or Detroit: Become Human. Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Collection was announced last month, with some of the best ones left for desserts.
It has been officially confirmed that God of War will also be available for the PC version. If anyone has any doubts, we note right away that we are talking about the title from 2018, which you can read about in our review. When can the first show be expected? January 14 next year. Pre-sale is already underway on Steam and the Epic Games Store, both priced at PLN 219.
The quality of God of War in the PC version
Expensive, isn’t it, or maybe it’s too tempting? The answers will likely be different. This is undoubtedly one of the best games released on Playstation 4, but it is also several years old. There is also the question of how much of the mod will be adjusted.
At the moment, we should be content only with creators’ ads, and their implementation, as you know, can be different. It looks promising, because it not only talks about 4K resolution and FPS, but also higher resolution for shadows, improved reflections, and SSDO. There will also be support for NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex technology, support for panoramic screens and properly configured control with extensive customization options.
A powerful PlayStation brand
It’s definitely not that Sony is giving God of War to PC owners, because PlayStation console owners are tired of the series. At the same time, it was revealed that the sale of the game in question exceeded 19.5 million (as of August of this year). The result is likely to be modified significantly in the coming months.
It’s also worth noting that God of War Ragnarök is in the works, which is expected to hit PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 next year and, given today’s information, possibly also on PC.
