The film hit theaters in late March and quickly won the hearts of audiences, grossing $194 million in its opening weekend. The production currently sits third at the worldwide box office with $567 million — behind Dune: Part II (which earned $711 million). Both pictures are co-productions of Warner Bros. Discovery, owner of TVN24, and Legendary.

“Godzilla & Kong: A New Empire” is a sequel to the 2021 film “Godzilla vs. Kong”. In the previous part, we saw the clash of the titans. In the new production, the mighty Kong and the terrifying Godzilla must face a greater threat lurking in our world. The production explores the history and origins of Godzilla and Kong, among other things, the secrets of Skull Island.
The film is directed by Adam Wingard, who was behind the camera on the set of Godzilla vs. Kong, and the screenplay is written by Terry Rossio and Jeremy Slater. The cast includes Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kylie Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.
