Goetz’s Mansion is like Hogwarts! Some scenes for the new “Akademia Pana Kleks” were filmed in Brzesko. This is another 4.1 movie made here

Next year, the first part of the new version of “Akademia Pana Kleksa” directed by Maciej Kawulski will be released on cinema screens. Some scenes for the film were filmed at Goetz’s mansion in Brzesko. The trailer for the new movie is now available online. In it you can see the hall of the Brest Palace with a characteristic staircase.

As we read in the press materials, “Kleks. Akademia Pana Kleks” is a modern version of Jan Brzechwa’s classic fairy tale, appealing in its content and format for younger audiences, but also engaging in dialogue with older viewers who still remember the movie adaptation from the 1980s.

The film tells the story of a seemingly ordinary girl – Ada Niezgódka – who goes to the academy to learn about the world of fairy tales, imagination and creativity. With the help of the insane and brilliant teacher, Professor Ambrosie Clix, she develops her amazing skills, and also stumbles upon a clue that will help her solve the family’s greatest secret…

The role of Ambroży Kleks was played by Tomasz Kot, whom Piotr Fronczewski himself appointed as his successor. Ada Nezjodka is played by Antonina Letwiniak. Krzysztof Gureczny is responsible for the script. The film’s director is Maciej Kawulski.
