Google has unveiled the new Pixel 9 smartphones and we know the Polish prices. Surprised?

Google has followed Apple’s lead and decided to slightly refresh the design of its devices. The rounded style we know so well from previous generations of Pixels has been replaced by more angular and austere shapes. This change will find as many supporters as opponents. However, the Mountain View company has not gotten rid of its most distinctive element, the horizontal camera island, which remains a hallmark of the series.

Google Pixel 9

The Google Pixel 9, the cheapest model on offer, has grown slightly compared to its predecessor. Its screen is 6.3 inches in diagonal. This is an Actua OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 and an aspect ratio of 20: 9, which provides a variable refresh rate from 60 to 120 Hz. Its peak brightness is 2700 nits (in HDR mode – 1800 nits).

Pixel 9, like other Z models New one The series is equipped with Google’s Tensor G4 system, which is supported by the Titan M2 coprocessor. First benchmark results appear We are dealing here with a mid-range system, which – as the manufacturer itself boasts – is supposed to perform excellently in calculations related to artificial intelligence.

When it comes to the built-in memory, we have 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of user data. There is also a 4,700mAh battery that can be charged at up to 45W. There is also wireless charging (Qi) and reverse charging.

The main camera of the new Pixel consists of two objects. The first has exactly the same specifications as the previous model (50 megapixels, f/1.68). Google has updated the ultra-wide-angle eye. It is now 48 megapixels with a brighter lens (f/1.7).

Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL

The Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are, as the name suggests, the Mountain View company’s two most powerful models, and they differ from each other only in terms of screen size and resolution. The smaller model has a 6.3-inch display, while the larger model has a 6.7-inch display.

This is a Super Actua OLED LTPO panel with a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. Its peak brightness is 3000 nits (2000 nits in HDR mode). The screen resolution in the Pixel 9 is 1280 x 2858, and in the Pixel 9 Pro XL – 1344 x 2992.

Both devices are powered by the aforementioned Google Tensor G4 system. We have 16GB of RAM and 128, 256, 512GB or 1TB of storage. There are also the latest connectivity modules. There is Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, UWB and 5G.

The camera is equipped with a set of three lenses:

• Main 50 MP, f/1.68, 1/1.31″, OIS;
• 48MP ultra-wide angle, f/1.7
• 48MP periscope, f/2.8, 1/2.55″, OIS, 5x optical zoom

All three Pixel 9 models are IP68 water-resistant. They also start with Android 14, and the manufacturer promises up to 7 years of device updates. As for other new features, it’s also worth mentioning support for the SOS function via satellite, which we know from iPhones.

Google also boasts comprehensive AI functionality, which includes, among other things: with photo and video editing or creating new content. Also new on the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL models is Gemini Live, an intelligent voice assistant based on generative AI technology.

We already know Polish Device prices. Unfortunately, Google is starting to catch up with Apple in this regard. The cheapest version of the Pixel 9 is priced at more than 4,000 PLN, while the most powerful Pixel 9 Pro XL costs about 7.6 thousand PLN. Here is the detailed price list:
