This season for the Los Angeles Lakers is a real disaster. It cannot be saved anymore. The California team on Tuesday officially lost the opportunity to even find themselves in the playoffs, that is, the playoff championship.
The San Antonio Spurs, who finished 10th on the Western Conference table, defeated the Denver Nuggets (116:97) and even during the Lakers’ game against the Phoenix Suns, the purple and gold were known to have won to keep hopes of the playoffs alive. .
Not that the Suns smashed “Jeziorowców” in their home field 121:110 and scored a historic victory, 63 in the 2021/2022 regular season. Historic, because it gave them the best official result in the club’s history.

It’s hard for me to comment on that. Important moment – coach Monty Williams confirmed at a press conference, referring to the organization’s record. The Suns had already earned the first place in the Western Conference, but Williams, as he made clear in an interview with the media, doesn’t see the benefits of giving his captains a break at the end of the regular season.
The hosts picked up the pace after switching teams, the third quarter ended 35:22 and in the last 12 minutes Sun didn’t have to worry about the end result. Devin Booker scored 32 points in 30 minutes, while Deander Eaton scored 22 points and 13 rebounds.
Lakers star LeBron James missed the game with an ankle injury. Russell Westbrook scored 28 points and Anthony Davis scored 21 “points” and 13 rebounds to his name, but the California basketball players lost 16 points and scored only 9 of their 29 three-pointers.
The Lakers suffered their seventh consecutive defeat and ranked 48th in the 2021/22 season. James, who counts as his 19th season on the NBA, will not make the playoffs for the fourth time in his career.
