Cillian Murphy on collaborating with Christopher Nolan
I’ve always said that, both publicly and privately, if I’m available and he wants me in his movie, I’m ready. No matter the size of the role. But deep down Secretly, I wanted to play the main role with himCillian Murphy, who starred in three Nolan Batman movies as well as “Inception,” “Dunkirk” and “Oppenheimer,” admitted this.
The actor also revealed how the director offered him a role in his latest movie: He is very subtle and has a distance between himself. He told me in his very English way: “Look, I wrote this script, it’s about Oppenheimer. I hope you’re my Oppenheimer.”. It was an amazing day. We understand each other without words and respect each other. It’s time to take on more responsibility.
I realized that it was already a huge responsibility. Oppenheimer was very complex and full of contradictions. It’s an iconadded Murphy, describing his character. But you know you’re working with one of the best directors ever. So I felt very confident in starting this project with Chris. he She had a huge impact on my life, both artistically and personally. He always gave me very interesting roles and each one was a challenge. I just love being in his group.
I think everyone will be surprised and happy with what he did this time. Whatever I’m saying will sound pale compared to watching the movie in an IMAX theatreThe actor concluded.
