Andrzej Duda travels to the United States on Tuesday with his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda. Jacek Siwira said that the visit will focus on the security dimension of the United Nations.
– The detailed agenda, especially in such a dynamic environment, is usually agreed upon until the last minute – added the head of the National Security Office in an interview with TVN24.
As previously revealed by the head of the Presidential Office for International Policy, Mieszko Pawlak, the president will meet with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, UN General Assembly President Denis Francis, and Economic and Social Council President Paula Narváez. He is scheduled to meet later with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Jacek Siwira on the situation in the Middle East. 'Distracts the West'
In “Fakty po Faktach” the head of the National Security Office also spoke about the situation in the Middle East. — It's very difficult to say exactly what to expect. (…) Jacek Siwira pointed out that the situation is definitely very tense.
He explained that the President was constantly informed about the situation, and I was also in contact with Deputy Prime Minister Wladyslaw Kusiśniak-Kamyš.
According to the head of the National Security Office, the situation in the Middle East distracts the West from the situation in Ukraine. — The Russian Federation realizes that production capacity in Europe will begin to increase. (…) He added that Russia knows that everything it will be able to achieve by that time will be a success for it, hence the intensification of military operations.
