In the middle of an animal safari, a woman has to wear a neck brace after a giraffe interferes with her wedding plans.
In the now-viral video, posted on TikTok on Friday afternoon, a man gets down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend and is abruptly interrupted by a giraffe.
The ring on the finger was so excited about this new union that the fiancée didn’t care about having a giraffe so close to her. The animal attacked the bride-to-be with a violent blow to the head, injuring her neck. As a reminder of the comical moment, the woman had to wear a neck brace for days after the incident.
“This is the best proposal yet,” the young woman captioned the TikTok video.
The original clip, now going viral, had been viewed more than 2.5 million times as of Friday afternoon. For some platform users, the turn of events is a bad omen. “It’s not a sign of anything,” protested the bride.
“We have been very happy together for seven years. A giraffe is just a giraffe,” he added.
