A few months ago, President Bertos Cervas announced that the 2021/22 season could be Vive’s last season in the club’s name. Since 2002, the Kielce team has performed under this banner, since 2009 along with various other sponsors, but for years the Vive has been inherently associated with the game of hand.
While meeting the fans after the Champions League final (defeat after a penalty shootout with Barcelona), the Dutch-born businessman confirmed the rumors that had been circulating for several weeks.
Soon a major sponsor will be introduced, whose name will appear alongside the current main sponsor, the Łomża (Van Pur Company) brand.
The name of the sponsor will be announced at a special press conference.
The Łomża Vive Kielce players have finished the official part of the season after meeting the fans – and will return to training on August 1.
