Police have arrested four rioters who may have been linked to the beating of security guards during Saturday’s football match in Radom between Radomiak Radom and Lech Poznan – said a spokeswoman for the Mazovian police, subinsp. Katarzyna Kucharska.
The detainees are men between the ages of 24 and 39. The first arrests took place right after the match, the spokeswoman told PAP, and police detained more rioters on Sunday morning.

During Saturday’s match in Radom, security guards intervened in relation to a banner hung by rioters on the stands. There was a vulgar inscription referring to the city’s mayor, Radoslav Witkowski.
When the security guards tried to take the sign off, They were attacked. As a result of the beating, three of them required medical attention and were taken to hospital.
“We have not seen such scenes of angry aggression in Radom stadiums for more than ten years. We do not want to see them! Such behavior must be categorically condemned,” the head of Radom commented on social media.
