Work 19.25
Nothing saddens me more than meeting people who have left God's hand. Most of the time, the experiment seems to have succeeded in destroying their relationship with him. It is true that some situations can create many questions in us: “Why is this happening to me?” (Jeremiah 13.22), But we must understand that God is not obligated to explain everything to us.
“Oh man, who are you to argue with God? Shall the vessel of clay say to him that made it: Why hast thou made me thus?” (Romans 9.20) What He wants most is our complete trust.
Despite all the suffering Job suffered, he refused to say a casual or hostile word against God. He refused to believe that everything was over for him and refused to give up!
Are you overwhelmed by a test you don't understand? It is essential that you do not let go of God's hand, that you put your trust in Him against all odds, and that He is your steadfast support day by day.
EHear the voice of God
Do the temptations you experience sometimes make you want to walk away from God? Take time to listen to God speak to your heart.
Prayer is simple. Open your heart and talk to God. He loves you and can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer: “Lord, sometimes I want to let go of your hand because of things I don't understand. But today I decide to stop and recognize that you are God, that you love me, and that you are always in control. Amen.“
LSenior Diu
To praise God is to acknowledge His goodness and sovereignty in all our circumstances. Today, despite your challenges, lift up His name and take this time to thank Him for who He is. God is always for you, not against you, so sing to Him with all your heart!
AAct today
Now, what can you do when you feel tempted to let go of God's hand? Why not think back to the story of Job and declare like him: “I know that while my Redeemer lives, He will rise last on earth.” ? For example, you can also read the Psalms of David.
HRespect God
Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.
,“Father, your actions are always motivated by your mercy ! Thine be the kingdom and the power and the glory, Amen !“
