Adam Konaki’s match with Robert Helenius is fast approaching. He will face the Finnish Pole again on October 9 at a party in Las Vegas. It’s been 19 months since their first fight. What about the shape of the boxer from Omiya?

On March 7, 2020, Polish fans were suspicious when Robert Helenius stopped Adam Konaki in the fourth round in his area at New York Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Babyface was on the brink of the heavyweight championship and stumbled on the last hurdle. In the rematch, he could no longer afford mistakes, because the second defeat would eventually destroy his ambitious plans and the pole promoters.
However, it is worth remembering that the second match between Konaki and Helenius was postponed several times, and 19 months have passed since the previous match. Did Pole take full advantage of this time to correct mistakes? He talked about it himself in an interview with the boxingscene.com portal.

“These things happen, and I really couldn’t help it. I had to trust this fight would break out. My team has been working on this constantly since last March. I just focused on doing my job and letting them do theirs,” said Adam Konaki.
The 32-year-old is a favorite among bookmakers against the Finn. The situation was similar the first time. At that time, the chance of winning “Nordic Nightmare” was less than it is today.
– The long break does not matter to him, because he had the same thing. I used this time to my advantage, as I was training almost non-stop and focused on being in much better shape. We took a few weeks off here and there when the fight was put off, but we didn’t commit bad habits – Kownacki added.
So far, it is not known if any of the Polish TV stations will show the Las Vegas concert. Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will meet for the third time in the Battle of the Night. The Briton will defend the WBC Heavyweight Championship.
