What will the theme of “The Death of Robin Hood” be?
Director and screenwriter of “The Death of Robin Hood” is Michael Sarnosky (“Pig”, “A Quiet Place: Day One”). The film promises to be a darker version of the classic story about the prince of thieves. The title character will be presented as a tired loner struggling with her criminal past. He is seriously injured and ends up in the care of a mysterious woman who offers him a chance to atone for his sins.
This is a unique opportunity to take a fresh look at the famous story of Robin Hood and retell it – commented Sarnosky. Securing the perfect cast to bring the script to the screen was crucial. I couldn’t be more excited to work with Hugh and Judy. I believe they will bring this story to life, and create powerful and meaningful work.
Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer’s latest project
Hugh Jackman will soon appear as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. The premiere is scheduled for July this year. In turn, in August, Jeff Nichols’ crime story “The Motorcyclists” will be shown in Polish cinemas, in which Jodie Comer stars with Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Norman Reedus and Michael Shannon.
