When will Iga Świątek play at the Olympics? We know the date of the second round match
The highlight of Monday for Polish fans is certainly the match between Iga Świątek. Iga Świątek was one of the first tennis players to advance to the second round, eliminating Irina-Camelia Begu. Her opponent in the second match will be France’s Diane Parry, who will be supported by the home crowd. The match is scheduled to start at 12:00 pm.
And right after that, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will take the court. So, you can be sure that the meeting with the participation of a Polish woman will be watched by a full audience! However, there is also bad news about the fight between Magda Linette and Jasmine Paolini.

The match between the Pole and the Italian was scheduled to take place on the second largest court in the tournament, Suzanne Lenglen. Linette and Paolini were also scheduled to arrive at the court at 12:00 noon, meaning the clashes between the two Polish women would overlap over time.
Fans will have to watch them on two screens. Linet will play two matches on Monday. She also plans to perform alongside Alicja Rosolska against Marta Kostyuk and Djana Jastremska. We will watch this match on Court 7 as the fourth in the queue from 12.00.
More emotions on the paddling track
Canada’s Grzegorz Hedwig wants to follow Zwolińska. The Pole will swim the same course as her younger teammate, but in the C-1 category. On Saturday, he qualified confidently in the first round. First, at 3.30 p.m., he will swim the semi-final, then after 5.20 p.m. in the possible final.
Polish medal chances on Monday
Apart from Hedwig, several Poles could take part directly in the medal race on Monday. Krzysztof Lukasik will start the mountain bike race on October 14. In addition to him, the outstanding players Jan Jurkiewicz, Adrian Wojtkowiak and Michał Sis could also appear in the final, but they must first pass the previous stages. From the morning, the former will face off in the 1/32 finals and the latter in the 1/16 finals. The situation is similar with Adam Stodolski in judo (starts with the 1/16 finals after 10:00).
Continuity of emotions
The competitors in the all-around (riding competition) will continue their Olympic competition battle for several days. On Monday, Malgorzata Kurica, Robert Buala and Jan Kaminski will jump over the obstacles. Paweł Tarnowski and Maja Dziarnowska will start the fight in the IQFoil windsurfing category. Their start was postponed from Sunday due to lack of wind. Only the 49ers FX was played in the Marseille area, and Monday was another day of competition in this category for Dominique Boksak and Szymon Wierzbicki, as well as Aleksandra Melczacka and Sandra Jaszkowiak.
Adela Piskorska will start swimming at 11:13 in the 100m backstroke and, if she successfully completes the heats, will compete in the semi-finals at 21:19. Natalia Bajor (after 11:00) and Katarzyna Wegrzyn (after 12:00) will play in the 1/32 table tennis competition. Also at 11:00 there will be a re-rowing of Martina Radosz and Katarzyna Vena.
