As we read in the letter, Almondy, the IKEA supplier, has withdrawn from the market the DAIM Almond Chocolate Frozen Cake, 400g, because a metal object was found in one of the cakes. The procedure is preventive.
The recall is limited to the DAIM product, Chocolate Almond Cake, 400g, purchased from IKEA stores in the Swedish store, with batch code L2140, best before date: 11/18/2023.
We ask all customers who have purchased DAIM Cake, Almond Chocolate 400g, Batch Code L2140, Best Before Date: 11/18/2023, not to consume it and return it to the nearest IKEA store for a refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.Store representatives say.
