Linking accounts is crucial to protecting players and maintaining securityWhich offers PlayStation and PlayStation Studios games. This is a way to protect against abuse by allowing you to ban players who engage in such behavior.

If you play Helldivers 2 on multiple platforms, this probably won’t be a big issue for you. However, if you don’t have a PlayStation Network account, you’ll need to create one and link it to your Helldivers 2 Steam account. As a result, starting May 6, all new HELLDIVERS 2 players on Steam will need to link their Steam account to their PlayStation Network account.

Existing players can continue playing without a linked account until Thursday, May 30. They will then be asked to link their accounts every time they log in. The deadline to link Helldivers 2 Steam accounts to PlayStation Network is Tuesday, June 4.

If you need to create a PSN account, you can do so here.
