The topic of Intel graphics cards is a real epic – we’ve all heard about it (quite a lot), but no one has actually seen it. The manufacturer has so far only revealed the details of the specifications of its lower-end models – the ARC A350M and ARC A370M, but the actual premiere of the first laptops took place only in some regions of Asia. In the case of desktop cards, it is even worse, because in fact, conflicting information about the actual release date of Alchemist systems constantly appears on the Web. We know that Intel is working on seven cards in total, but they will be gradually introduced to the market. Interesting reports about further delays appeared on the portal of Igor’s laboratory. They are also expected to annoy more and more AiB partners, who don’t know when Intel ARC cards will actually be available.
Igor’s Lab, based on its own sources, indicates that the actual market debut of Intel ARC graphics cards may take place at the end of the summer holidays. Subsequent delays are caused by only one factor – lagging drivers.
Intel ARC A750, ARC A580 and ARC A380 – new information about the release date and prices of Alchemist graphics cards
Igor Lab, based on its own sources, suggests a further delay in the availability of Intel ARC graphics cards. AiB partners, who still do not have final projects for non-reference graphics cards, are also in an uninteresting position. They also do not have final graphics drivers, which leads to even more delays in work. While the specifications of individual systems are already a closed topic and nothing should be changed here, the only real cause of delays are lagging drivers, since cards either do not deliver the expected performance or cause other errors, such as compatibility with games.
Intel ARC – The new series of desktop graphics cards should consist of seven different models
According to Igor Walusik From Igor’s Lab, the actual appearance in stores is scheduled for the second half of the holidays, more or less from mid-July to the end of August. However, it is difficult to predict what the situation will look like, because this, as can be seen in the case of Intel cards, can change often and very quickly. It all depends on when Intel engineers bring the drivers to an actual use case. Given that at the end of April, in contrast to the original announcements, a new driver package for the Intel ARC laptop was not made available, everything indicates that the manufacturer already had problems with ordering drivers.
