This is likely the biggest PS Plus purge since the service was created. More titles will be removed from the subscription. This time we’re talking about really good games.
Last month we informed you about the changes planned for the PlayStation Plus offering. There were up to 25 farewell games for the service. Now we know it won’t end there. Interestingly, not all games scheduled for removal are included in the special tab available via PlayStation.
A few days ago we wrote that this list had been updated to include Horizon: Zero Dawn, a first-party game from Sony. It turns out that more titles will disappear from the service. This is not clearly communicated to players, so it’s worth reading the list below. Below are the games that will not be available in PS Plus Extra/Premium as of May 21st and are not included in the console’s information pool.
- Darksider: Warmaster Edition (PlayStation 4)
- Darksider 2: Detective Edition (PlayStation 4)
- Darksider 3 (PlayStation 4)
- Darksider Genesis (PlayStation 4)
- Alex 2 (PlayStation 4/Playstation 5)
- MX vs ATV Legends (PS4/PS5)
- Werequest (PS4/PS5)
- Horizon: Zero Dawn (PlayStation 4)
- Kingdoms of Amalur (PS4)
The Darksiders series deserves special attention. We’re talking about games that received strong ratings among gamers, but were not huge financial successes. The business will also leave Piranha Bytes Plus. Elex 2 has its own problems (like most games from this studio), but it’s worth paying attention to this title. If you haven’t checked out the remaining games that will be removed on May 21, You can find the list here.
A total of 34 productions will be removed.
