Natalia Kachmarek impressed during the Diamond League meeting in Paris. Although she crossed the finish line second in the 400m, she showed an excellent result, thanks to which she finally overtook Salwa Eid Naser.
The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are fast approaching. Polish athletes, including Natalia Kaczmarek, will be competing for a medal. However, we already know that he will have a chance to win two awards at most.
Her coach decided that the runner would not participate in the 400m mixed relay. Therefore, our team will not be able to count on her. Let us remind you that during the previous Olympic Games in Tokyo, Kachmarek’s team managed to win the gold medal.
On Sunday (July 7), the Pole made another start before fighting for an Olympic medal. The European 400m champion finished second at the Diamond League meeting in Paris. Marilynda Paulino proved to be better, finishing the competition in 49.60.

Kacmarek was impressed with her finish, as she was well behind both Paulino and Salwa Eid Nasser in the final straight. However, our competitor’s impressive finish in the race meant that she eventually finished second.
True, both competitors crossed the finish line at exactly the same moment. But the replay showed that the Polish woman finished second with a time of 49.82. Thus, for the tenth time in her career, she ran under 50 seconds.
The Olympics in Paris begin on July 26. We’ll see Kaczmarek compete on August 5, as the 400m heats are scheduled for that day.
