Singer Jennifer-Lee Dupuy headlined the concert BodyguardsMélanie will pay tribute to Renaud in a cultural evening at the next Dynasty Gala.
He will perform one of his songs to highlight his contribution to Quebec music in particular, but also to support the artist through his illness.
Melanie Renaud, who is suffering from incurable cancer, is also due to release a new album in the autumn.
In total, more than twenty artists will perform on stage during the various evenings of Gala Dynasty, which will take place on April 21 at the Cinquime Salle and on April 27 at the Théâtre Maisonneuve.
Actress and author Catherine Sofrant will make a special appearance during the media evening premiere. A change will come By Sam Cooke. Täbï Yösha and DJ KidCrayola, on the turntables, will take the stage this evening.

The opening number of the second evening promises sparks. It combines hip-hop, opera, classical music and rock. Featuring the Obiora Ensemble, young pianist Sem, SLM, Reuben Brutus and Mafa Studio Dance Group.
The evening will also feature promising artists including Radio-Canada's 2023 Musical Revelation, Joseph Saranhes and Montreal singer Hawa B.

There are also plans to pay tribute to some of those who shaped Quebec's urban scene. Marième, Barnev, Ya Cetidon, Naïma Frank, Nicole Musoni, Maky Lavender and Skandal take part.
Hosted by Naadei, the media evening will take place on April 21 at the Cinquième Salle. Hosted by comedian Carihana Jean-Louis, the cultural evening will take place on April 27 at Théâtre Maisonneuve.
