(LONDON) American actor Johnny Depp sold a collection of prints of Hollywood and rock icons for about £3 million ($4.56 million) through a British gallery on Thursday.

Depp wrote on Instagram on Thursday that prints made from computer-generated images are being sold online at Castle Fine Art, which runs a network of galleries in Britain.
The gallery said collections of prints titled Friends and Heroes “Testimony of those who knew him well and encouraged him”.
The gallery quoted the actor: “My paintings surrounded my life, but I kept them inside myself and limited myself. No one should limit themselves. »
Prints specifically refer to Bob Dylan, Elizabeth Taylor, Al Pacino or Keith Richards.
The gallery said its website was flooded with requests, with 780 pieces for sale. Buyers paid about $23,209 for a set of four framed prints, or €6,128 per print.
In June, the actor won ten million dollars in a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, 36. Mme Heard the appeal.
