Paul Dorothy’s sister, Julie, died at the age of 84 after living in music for decades.
On Tuesday afternoon, the first person to post the announcement on social media was his daughter, Danny Torch.
“I announce with great sadness the death of my little dear mother, my queen …. I love you,” he wrote calmly, triggering an avalanche of tribute and sad reactions.
In a statement, Tharaich’s family clarified that the cause of death was natural and that the coroner should provide further details at the end of the investigation.
The folk singer celebrated his 84th birthday two days earlier on Sunday at a bar in Pointe-aux-Trembles, with several internet users pointing to his Facebook page by sharing photos of the celebrations.
His daughter Danny released a video showing him pushing the note on stage on his birthday.
Born April 27, 1938 in Saint-Fran்கois-de-Paphos, a village now connected to Chandler, Caspian, Julie Dorich quickly developed an interest in folk music.
This love for this style of music has led Julie Dorichev to represent Quebec music for more than five decades. Also, singer Julie Dorich released the album “50 Years of Love “, resuming her biggest career success in 2021.
The artist’s discography includes about twenty albums, many of which he reveals to himself along with his brother Paul Dorich and other members of the family.
The family underlined that “he is mourning the passing of his daughter Danny, his son Richard, his brother Paul and many other members of the Dorich family in addition to many fans, friends and prominent figures in the folk music industry.”
