“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” will be released on Disney+ on August 2. The film, directed by Wes Ball, has grossed over $396 million worldwide and is currently ranked sixth at the global box office. The main roles are played by Owen Teague, Freya Allan and Kevin Durand. Here’s the trailer:
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes takes place in the future, several generations after Caesar’s rule. The apes live in harmony as the dominant species, and humans are forced into the shadows. As the new tyrannical leader of the apes builds his empire, the young male embarks on a very difficult journey that will change his view of the past, and new decisions will affect the future of both apes and humans.
