KSW 89: Fight results – Pulsat Sport

This battle cost both fighters a lot of health. Parnas fought on equal terms with a champion of a weight class much higher than his nominal champion. They are both very tired, but they are slowly preparing for judgment.

We saw a lot of clinching at the net again. Bartosinski tried to take down but Parnas defended well. After the break, short exchanges took place, after which the players returned to settle the match. It’s time for the third installment!

A very tiring decision for both players. When the fight returned to standing, Bartosinski and Parnas exchanged sharp exchanges, but neither broke down their opponent in such a manner. Everything indicates that the key factor in this fight is who will be fitter in the upcoming rounds.

Pawlak did his job and retained the championship title. Materla had done everything he could, but it wasn’t enough this time. And now there is only the evening’s fight ahead of us!

Pawlak dodged the punches well and blocked them well. Materla pressed, but his attacks rarely satisfied the Octopus Łódź player. The current champion led this fight continuously until the final bell. Big applause for Paweł Pawlak, who will likely be declared the winner of this fight soon. But respect also deserves the experienced Michel Materla, who fought for 25 minutes at a high level!

Fourth round

Pawlak is back in the spotlight again, more clearly. It is impressive how the Octopus Lodz player diversifies his actions. He boxes and kicks effectively. Matterla is still looking for a powerful strike down the right flank. At the end of the round, Szczecin’s player, Pavlak, was knocked to the ground, but he quickly got up.

Round 3

This was definitely Materla’s best round of this fight. He put pressure on Pawlak, shot him into the net, and attacked him with different formations. Pawlak has languished a bit, but he also had his moments in this version. It’s time for the championship rounds!

Second round

The second round was fought only in a standing position. Pawlak remains very consistent. He hits his opponent with punches and kicks with great accuracy. Matterla responds with one-two thrusts, which, however, do not impress the reigning champion at the moment.

In the round

A very methodical and calm round by both players. They both realize the fight is scheduled for five rounds. Pawlak, who hit Materla with several powerful blows, is considered more effective.

The first round was Romanowski’s. “Tommy” punched while standing and attacked Janikowski several times. It seemed that the player from Stargard was about to end the duel.
