According to the Consumer Protection Law, in 2023 all households will benefit from frozen electricity rates up to 2 MWh consumption, as in 2022. After this limit is exceeded, higher rates apply.
For whom was the limit raised?
However, the law defines so-called eligible customers who may apply for an increase in the limit. For farms where there is a disabled person, it is possible to apply to raise the minimum rate to 2.6 MWh, and for large family card holders and farmers – to 3 MWh.
Farmers must attach a copy of the agricultural tax decision to the application. In turn, large families may be asked to present a large family card, and people with disabilities – to present a document confirming their status. In the latter two cases, it is up to the seller to make such a condition.
Customers who have separate contracts for the sale and distribution of electricity must provide separate data to the seller and distributor. Electricity price freeze does not apply to households who have a fixed price contract with the seller. In this case, the price guaranteed in the contract applies to the recipient.

Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
