Daoud Kobacki met his wife, Marta Macher, in 2013 at the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, where they both studied. A fencing-trained sweetheart from Katowice, she represented the Katowice Palace colours, but was also interested in ski jumping. Unfortunately, her sports career was interrupted by an injury, so she focused on children and helping her husband with matters related to a professional competitor’s career.

– I started my fencing adventure at the age of 10 (…) As an older competitor, I participated in the Silesian championship, then the Polish championship, then I joined the macroregion team, the Silesian team and finally the Polish team. As a representative of our country, I went to many World Cups, including European ones – I will not say that I was more successful there, but I took this sport seriously, – revealed Marta Kupaka some time ago in an interview with Radio Zeit .
Daoud Kobacki proposed to Marta Magher in August 2018, during a vacation in Egypt. Then his sweetheart flaunted on her social media a beautiful ring that the Olympic medalist put on her finger.
The lovers got married in the church in Bachledówka on May 1, 2019. Among the wedding guests were the family, but also the athletes and, above all, the snowboarders, who together with Dawid Kubacki have represented Poland in the great sporting events.
Marta Kupaka devoted herself to caring for children
David Kobacki’s wife devoted herself to taking care of the couple’s children.
