Minecraft 1.21 – One change that will turn the game upside down

We already know everything about what will be added to Minecraft in version 1.21. One change is key.

Minecraft will be 15 years old this year. So it seems that Mojang will be preparing a big update for this anniversary, which will strengthen Minecraft’s position as the most popular game in the world. At the same time – more recently, the company has taken a slightly different approach to updates. The largest ones so far – Cave and Cliffs – were divided, and the last – Trails and Tails – were built in parts, as not everything was announced during Minecraft Live, but new features were gradually added.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the changes announced this year seem to be very few (which players have complained about), but that does not mean that they are not worth taking a closer look at. One of them will change the game forever for many fans.

Minecraft 1.21 – What changes have been added to the game?

First of all, in the new update we will see a new procedurally generated structure, called Trail Chamber by the creators. It is located underground and built of new blocks, i.e. carved stone and new types of copper blocks. This would be a great way to get this raw material.

One of the new blocks is also copper lamps, which interestingly decrease in brightness as the level of oxidation increases.

Inside the Trial Rooms, you’ll also find a new Trail Spawner. This results in selected crowds appearing depending on the number of people entering the corridor room. I think this could be a great structure for creating a new type of mob grinder.

Inside this structure we will also find a brand new mob, “The Breeze”. This is a horde of enemies that attacks the player with projectiles. If the bullet hits, it causes damage, but if it doesn’t, it pushes us a great distance away from the point of impact. Additionally, poses interact with structures, and can activate trapdoors or move levers.

However, what has attracted the most attention is the change that is less obvious, but will have a major impact on what the game will look like for all fans. Of course, we are talking about a new block – Crafter, that is, a crafting table, which allows you to automate the crafting process. Items can be delivered and collected automatically via hoppers, and can be activated using redstone. The community has been asking for something like this for years.

Within the interface, you will be able to choose the item you want to create so that there is nothing wrong.

Finally, the result of the mob vote was announced. Mojang didn’t listen to fans, even despite a petition that received half a million votes. As it turned out, the warship won the vote, and needless to say, the players were not happy. Many people believe that this mob was chosen “as a joke” again.

The creators indicated that we will learn more about this update in the coming months, as they plan to add content throughout the year. The beta will be available for download in the coming weeks.

So overall, not a lot of content has been added to the game, but for me Crafter will definitely make a big difference. What do you think about the changes in version 1.21?
