Mino Raiola died, the Italian was a football agent

“Full of sadness, we share the passing of our most caring and amazing football agent,” the company said in a statement posted to Raioli’s Twitter account.

“Mino fought to the end with the same energy that he did at the negotiating table when he tried to protect his players,” he added.

Al-Wakeel’s family signed the statement, which was published in English and Italian.

Raiola was known for his tough negotiations, but also his extravagance. He would bring in a T-shirt and jeans for talks that cost millions. He spoke of his players as the greatest painting artists.

For his successful transfer, he got a much higher commission than the usual 5-10 percent. on the transaction amount. He is said to have raised €40m for Pogba’s move to Manchester United. The cost of the French is 105 million euros.
