More women in Marvel’s X-Men? We know the likely opponent: is it Mister Sinister?
It has long been known that the X-Men will sooner or later come to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Transformers are already lurking on the horizon and starting to make a timid appearance in Marvel Studios productions: a post-credits scene here, a visit to a parallel reality there – it’s getting warmer, and after the premiere of “Deadpool 3” it might just be too hot. We’ve got the latest Hollywood rumors about which villain might take on mutants in the MCU. And no, it won’t be magnetic. We’re also supposed to see more X-women on screen.

X-Men in MCU: Mister Sinister and more heroines?

This rumor was revealed by a Hollywood leaker, Daniel Richtman. Of course, this is not official information and should be treated with caution. But who doesn’t like to speculate?

Richtman claims so Marvel will want to avoid using Magneto as a central villain in an “X-Men” reboot. The Master of Magnetism was so present in the films of the Fox studio – so much so that two actors, Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender, were able to portray him.

According to Richtman, the archenemy of the X-Men in the MCU will be Mister Sinister. Interestingly, the villain was supposed to appear in Fox’s mutant universe. He was suggested in Deadpool 2, X-Men: Apocalypse, and The New Mutants, and there was speculation that Jon Hamm or Antonio Banderas would play the character, but nothing happened. If a new rumor is to be believed, Mr. Minister will get his second chance to tease the X-Men on the big screen.

Richtman also reported Marvel wants to focus more on the women of the X-Men than on Fox. In fact: When looking at the Fox films through the eyes of a Marvel Mutants fan, you might be surprised by how uninteresting the screen versions of important characters like Storm, Psylocke, or Kitty Pryde are.
