“Avatar: The Last Airbender” – plot

Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in a fairytale land. The Fire Nation is trying to take over the world. He is opposed by the remaining nations of Earth: the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, and Air Nomads. In each of them live magicians – people who have power over one of the four elements. However, the world can only be saved by the Avatar – the one wizard who controls all the elements. It is twelve-year-old Aang who must overcome many obstacles and show great responsibility.

The cast includes Gordon Cormier (as Aang), Qiawentiyo (as Katara), Ian Owsley (as Sokka), and Dallas Liu (as Zuko).

The director, writer and executive producer of Avatar: The Last Airbender is Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow, Nikita). The series is being created for the streaming platform Netflix.
