As Chief Operating Officer at ÉNT from January 2021, Ms. Page will be responsible for pursuing a new vision of openness and inclusion for the cultural institution. Among the challenges ahead, we note the difficulty of recruiting new students in a post-pandemic environment and the integration of indigenous communities.
“Exciting challenges await us as the theater community recovers from the pandemic and the school continues to evolve, while ensuring the performing arts remain a vital part of our community,” the new director general said in a press release.
Before joining ÉNT, Fanny Page worked notably for Cirque du Soleil and Franco Dragon Entertainment Group. In his career spanning over 20 years, he has held various positions in event production, operations management and human resources.
He succeeds Gideon Arthurs, who has held the position since 2014.
