Jakob Moder suffered the injury in April 2022 and has not played in a game since. Training only started in September this year.
The footballer suffered a cruciate ligament tear during Brighton’s league match against Norwich (April 4, 2022). He spent just five minutes on the pitch and tragedy struck. The player’s recovery took a long time and he had to undergo additional surgery.
Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbe revealed during the press conference held today, Friday, that there are reasons for optimism. – Jacob started working with us, he is already training with the whole group and this is great news for us – he confirmed.

More importantly for Brighton itself, the coach can also use James Milner and Pascal Gross on the field. Pervis Estupinan and Tariq Lamptey are currently injured.
At the moment, it is unknown when Jakob Moder will return to the team. Brighton will play three more matches this month: with Manchester City (October 21, English Premier League), with Ajax (October 26, Europa League) and with Fulham (October 29, English Premier League). After eight rounds, the Polish footballer’s team is in sixth place in the table.
