Official: Perpetual Krakow with successful transfer from Ukraine

Perpetual Krakow has confirmed the transfer of Dennis Fawro.

The window III champion continues to be excellent in his performance. So far, Michael Mack, Pegg Augustin, Adrian Klimchak, Bowie Konsewicz Zicka, Piotr Bojak, and Jacob Kowalski have all been brought in.

Now Denys Faworow joins this group.

The nominal right-back in his resume includes such clubs as FK Poltava, Desna Chernihiv and Zorya Lugansk. He was with this last team he’s been associated with for the past two years.

The 31-year-old played 53 games during this time, scoring three times and sending six assists. On June 30, his contract, which was used by Krakow Perpetual, expired.

The Ukrainian signed a contract valid until mid-2024 with the option to extend cooperation for another 12 months. He will play in jersey number 45.

In the previous season, he participated in the group stage of the European Conferences League. He scored the entire time span in, among other things, two matches against the subsequent winner, Roma. Zorya finally scored seven points, which turned out to be insufficient and Jose Mourinho’s and Norwegian Bodo/Glimt’s team won promotion to the knockout stage.

The Wawel team will open the league matches next Saturday with a match against KSZO 1929 Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
