Officially: Makana Paco leaves Legia Warsaw

Makana Paco leaves Legia Warsaw. He will spend the rest of the season at OFI Kreta.

According to previous reports, the German player was able to complete his transfer to Greece. He will finish the 2023/2024 season in the colors of the Premier League 1 representative, more specifically OFI Kreta.

We read on the official website of the Polish runner-up: “Makana Paku was loaned until the end of the 2023/24 season to OFI Crete, which plays in the Greek Premier League.”

The new team, made up of a striker of Congolese origin, currently ranks tenth in the league. Pepe Mel, who has been working at Malaga, Real Betis and Rayo Vallecano, has been in charge of its results since December 14.

The Al Jazira team finished last season in ninth place.

Makana Baku bid farewell to Legia Warsaw after a very disappointing period. It is not known whether the agreement includes a final transfer option.

The versatile midfielder joined Laszenkowska from Goztepe in Turkey for €350,000. Previously, he spent a successful spring season on loan at Wartha Poznań, where he scored six goals in 13 matches.

Baku posted much worse numbers in Warsaw – one goal and two assists in 40 matches.

Baku have been linked with transfers for a long time. The topic gained importance last summer. However, surgery was performed a few months later.
