Only Poles work in the German factory?

Now, according to a local newspaper “Nordkurir”There were rumors that the Germans no longer worked there at all.

But the company quickly denied this. “The ratio between German and Polish employees is generally balanced.” – says a representative of Birkenstock in an interview with the newspaper.

But it is not known exactly what this percentage is. Company spokesman Jochen Goetze admits that 54 percent of employees live in Poland and 45 in Germany. However, this should not explain the whole picture – after all, many Poles live in German cities close to the border. The speaker also adds 1 percent and the factory employees come from other countries, for example Portugal or even Great Britain.
