Papszun commented on the rumors ahead of his team’s clash on Monday with Krakow (1:2). The 47-year-old confirmed that his contract is not a long-term one. This could mean that even if the Poland Cup winner doesn’t own Legia now, he could do so next summer.
– So far I won’t change anything, I’m here with Raków. My contract expires in June, all kinds of things can happen. The contract is binding on both parties. We’ll see what life brings, Papszun said in an interview with Canal + Sport.
After the dismissal of Czeslav Micniewicz, Marek Gubivsky became the interim director of the army. The change has not brought any results – the Polish champion is still losing, most recently with Gornik in Zabrze (2:3). For Mahir Emreli and his companions, this was the seventh consecutive loss in the league. It wasn’t that bad over 80 years ago.
I would like to thank our fans who showed up in great numbers and supported us in these difficult moments. I can see they are with us. Please ask the club authorities about my job – Gołębiewski said at the post-match press conference.
