Poland made a great start to their Olympic campaign in Paris. The Red and Whites beat Egypt 3-0, but the joy of victory was marred by an injury to Tomasz Fornal. Early in the third set, the Polish receiver accidentally landed on his opponent’s leg, injuring his ankle. The extent of the injury will become clear in the coming days.
Despite his health problems, the player remains optimistic, as do his teammates, who believe the 26-year-old will be ready to play in the next match against Brazil, scheduled for Wednesday, July 31. 9.00.
On Saturday evening, the 2022 World Cup runner-up posted a photo from his room on social media, smiling at internet users while giving two thumbs up. He also thanked them for the support he received.

“Thank you for every message, you are the best. They will not get rid of me that easily. I will rest for a while and then I will be here,” the Polish team’s host announced.
Under the photo, there were many posts from fans wishing him a speedy recovery. Sylwia Jaczurek also spoke up. “Let’s take a break for a while to come back with double strength. Tomek is indestructible. He will be fine, he should be,” wrote the player’s partner (original spelling – editor’s note).
The player’s mother also sent words of support, and her comment touched and amused the Polish actor’s fans the most. “If I kiss you, it will definitely help, it always helps,” Dorota Fornal wrote.
