Patrick Małecki speaks very sharply about the way Zagłębie Sosnowiec was treated. – They made me a bandit – Burst.
In the previous season, Małecki was a football player from Zagłębie Sosnowiec. He parted with him in an atmosphere of scandal. The club suspended an experienced footballer after allegedly violating the physical integrity of a member of the coaching staff. The case was taken to court, but Zagłębie had to pay compensation to the former representative of Poland in the amount of 150,000 PLN.
As a freestyle footballer, Małecki joined second division Stal Rzeszów. Now he is one of her most important football players.
– I realized that after leaving the club I might have problems finding a new team, because the enemy was doing everything to make it happen. Coach Myśliwiec didn’t take it personally, but he recognized me as a human and didn’t look at what happened before. I thank him for everything, because if it wasn’t, it would be hard for me to find a club – Małecki said in an interview with “tvpsport.pl”.
When the 33-year-old got engaged to Stal, voices began to emerge that he definitely wanted to clean up his coat room.
– After Sosnovic made me a bandit, I expected such opinions. I’m fine if someone like this to me. In Zagłębie it was like that for some time, then he started drilling holes under mine and finished in a well-known way. I’m glad I already did – Ex-football player Wisla Krakow admitted.
– I was worried about fans’ reaction to my past, because there are different opinions. For me, the most important thing was whether I would be healthy, because I knew I would defend myself with my game on the field – added Małecki.
The 33-year-old scored seven goals in 22 matches this season in the second league. His team, despite Saturday’s defeat to Roch Chorzo, is close to climbing into the Ectraclasa defense. She leads the table by seven points over second Chugenizanka.
