As you already know, the Disney + platform is modifying a series of novel series for young people Percy Jackson and the Olympians composing Rick Riordan. The writer himself takes part in the project as a screenwriter and producer. Riordan has posted a new post on his blog, an update on the series’ work stage. He revealed that he traveled to Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 23 to work on the show. He revealed that the casting process is currently underway and that he wants to be there by himself to see the chemistry between the cast during reading rehearsals.
However, the most interesting information revealed in the text is that the launch of the series will likely begin in the summer of 2022, and the preparation of the set and costumes for the project is already underway.

The title character of the literary form is the son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the seas and oceans. Percy ends up in a camp where the other children are trained for the pantheon of Greek gods. In the course of his adventures, the protagonist meets characters and creatures from mythology, such as Medusa or Cyclops.
