PlayStation Q Lite is “Sony’s new portable device”. We know specifics

A few hours ago we reported the possible appearance of the PlayStation Vita 2, and that’s it Tom Henderson at Insider Gaming He gave details of the ‘PlayStation Q Lite’. It’s supposed to be Sony’s new portable console.

PlayStation will prepare another portable device codenamed “Q Lite”. However, the device will not provide the original gameplay and Tom Henderson thinks this is another suggestion that “requires PlayStation 5 to run”.

Insider Gaming has determined that the Q Lite isn’t a cloud streaming device, but instead uses Remote Play from the PlayStation 5 — a feature the console giant has been touting for the past few weeks.

Tom Henderson mentions promoting Remote Play – Sony recently published a trailer encouraging gamers for the service. You can see it below.

Sony is making hardware based on cloud gaming, which requires a stable internet connection and players have to receive gameplay in 1080p at 60 frames per second.

Tom Henderson even got to the photos of the prototype and in his opinion – PlayStation Q Lite looks like DualSense, but the device will receive a large 8-inch screen:

As for the console’s physical features, prototypes show that the console will look like a PlayStation 5 console, but with a massive 8-inch LCD touchscreen inside. The device has adaptive triggers for haptic feedback and will include what you would expect from a handheld device – volume buttons, speakers, audio input jack, etc.

Insider Gaming believes that PlayStation Q Lite is in the QA (testing) stage and is expected to debut after the PlayStation 5 with a drag engine, but before the PlayStation 5 Pro.
