As the organizers of the Warsaw Film Festival Post Pxrn declared, the first film event of this kind in Poland, “It is an independent artistic initiative that attempts to give support and courage to everyone who disagrees with what politicians and the Church have to offer.”

The festival sparked a strong reaction from the national organization Młodzież Wszechpolska, which planned a demonstration on Tuesday evening under the slogan “Stop obscenity!” In front of the Murano cinema where the event is taking place.
“Warsaw Kino Murano is organizing an obscene festival of pornographic films. We do not approve of vulgar and obscene content in a public place! Let’s gather on June 7 at 19:30 in front of Cinema Murano to pray for atonement for public sins against purity ”- we read in social media .
How was the festival planned? From June 7 to 12, 2022, nearly 300 films from around the world will be shown, grouped into 45 thematic groups, mostly short and medium-length films. Entry to the event is only permitted to persons over the age of 18. The presentations are accompanied by discussions with authors and creators, discussions, workshops and presentations.
The festival begins with the film “Victory of Sodom”. As we read, “it is a collective vision of artistic freedom born of a desire for vengeance, a path leading to the overthrow of patriarchal morals and a call for the eventual liberation of sex from binary traps.” This is how director Joyo Anshu invited the show:
