Quentin Tarantino recently admitted that he did not give his mother “one percent” of his wealth.

The American director explained to the podcastMoment podcastWhen he kept his promise when he was 12, his mother wanted to break his dream of making movies.
“My mother misunderstood that I was not good at school. She criticized me for the little scripts I was writing at the time:” Do you think you can write that little script? It’s completely over, ”he said.
The author of hits like “Pulp Fiction” or “Kill Bill” saw his mother making fun of him and promised not to pay “a penny” for his success.
“There’s no house for you, no vacation. Mom has no Cadillac. You have nothing to say to me about it all,” he threw at her.
Tarantino vowed to keep that promise and has never helped his mother except to pay a one-time tax since her success in Hollywood.
“The words that parents throw at their children have consequences. Some words or ridiculous tone can have effects on these children,” he said.
