Ryoyu Kobayashi won the first practice series ahead of Wednesday's Raw Air individual competition on the big Granasen hill (HS138) in Trondheim. The Japanese actor rose to 134 meters. Kamel Stoch (135.5m) ranked ninth. In the second practice, Aleksander Zniszczoł slid further, landing at 143 metres.

Ryoyu Kobayashi performed best in the first training session. The Japanese landed at 134 meters and were 2.6 points ahead of Stefan Kraft (135 meters) and 5.2 points. Timmy Zajec (134.5m). Fourth was Lovro Kos (131.5m) and fifth was Johan Andre Forfang (127m).
The next positions were taken by Daniel Huber (130.5m), Daniel Chovenig (131m) and Gregor Deschwanden (132m). Kamil Stoch (135.5m) finished ninth, and Giovanni Presadola (130.5m) rounded out the top ten.
Dawid Kubacki fell 123 meters and finished in 22nd place. Piotr Żyła finished 26th (121m). The forty-fifth was Aleksander Znieszczul (108 AD) and the forty-eighth was Maciej Kut (101.5 AD).
The first training was conducted with models 20, 18, 16, 15 and 14.
Aleksander Znieszczul shined in the second training session. The Polish representative won the series thanks to a test of 143 meters, ahead of Michael Hybuyck (137.5 m) by 3.3 points and by 4.7 points. Daniel Chovenig (141.5m). Timmy Zajec (134m) came in fourth place, Manuel Fittner (133.5m) in fifth place and Benjamin Ostvold (131.5m) in sixth place.
The top ten finishers in the round included Gregor Deschwanden (133m), Alex Ensam (135.5m), Johan-André Forfang (122m) and Erik Belshaw (133.5m) on par with Jan Hoerle (122m).
Piotr Żyła took 16th place after a jump of 132.5 metres. Davut Kubacki (133.5m) was 22nd, and Maciej Kot (118.5m) was 36th. Kamil Stoush resigned from conducting the test.
The second training was conducted from platforms 18, 17 and 16.
