With two rounds to go, another team secured their stay in the PKO Ekstraklasa. After winning in Grodzisk 2: 1 over Warta Pozna, Radomiak Radom feels safe.
Round 32 ended in Grodzisk. Warta Pozna can really feel safe. The situation was different for Radomiak, who needed a set of points to calm down.
It rained heavily before the match and the pitch was damp. Worta entered the match better. The hosts had more possession of the ball and in the ninth minute were able to take the lead. Stefan Savic escaped from the defenders, and tried to shoot the ball with the goalkeeper, but he missed the goal.
Two minutes later, Enes D’Estaing’s header was headed first by Gabriel Kubilak, and after a while there was a bit of a fumble, but there were no more strikes.

The locals attacked and Radomiak scored the goal. In the 20th minute, Luis Machado found himself with the ball near the goal area. Unexpectedly, he decided to shoot from an acute angle. The ball hit Camille Koscielny’s back and landed in the goal next to Adrian Lisa’s hands.
Eight minutes later, Radom’s players unexpectedly struck another blow. After playing behind the backs of the Warta defenders, Liss tried to reach the ball. The goalkeeper missed the ball, and after a while Lisandro Semedo drove it into an empty goal with his thigh.
It took the hosts a long time to recover after conceding two goals. Just before the break, the Poznań team attacked more seriously. In the 40th minute Kobilak came out of the goal, Adam Zerlak passed him. Shot from a narrow angle hit an empty net post.
A somewhat slow start to the second half revived Warta’s goal. In the 53rd minute, Cajetan Smit crossed from the right. Savic grabbed the ball, deceived the defender and defeated Kobilak with a set shot from about twelve metres.
After making contact, Warta speeded up the game for a moment and looked for the equaliser. However, the hosts could not seriously threaten the guests for a long time. In the 66th minute, the ball landed at Zurelaq’s feet. The attacker hit her, but she hit the defender’s legs.
The Boznanese tried to create a chance to score the second goal but were unable to surprise the Radom players. I’ve commented in front of visitors many times. However, Dawid Szulczek’s players did not create a clear chance.
With three points won in Grodzisk, Radomiak is sure to keep it.
